Writing your own original articles and having them published at article directories is the top method of free internet advertising. Writing short articles is not difficult: anyone who can spell, has a reasonable grasp of grammar and is capable of writing a letter or posting a coherent message on an internet forum should be able to write articles. The problem many people find lies in getting started. For many people lack of confidence in their writing ability stops them from making an attempt at article writing. Other people don't believe they have anything to say on any subject that might interest the public. These doubts are perfectly understandable when you consider that most webmasters have not written anything like an article since they left school or university. I felt like that and, believe me, my school days were over a long time ago but I overcame the fear and doubt and now enjoy writing articles.
