Q. Can I really make money working at home?
A. Yes, there are literally hundreds of ways for ordinary people to make money working at home.
Q. Do you only recommend Internet based opportunities?
A. I recommend as wide a choice of work at home ideas as possible. The majority of the work at home programs I recommend are Internet based because I work on the Internet and it's what I know best. Also the Internet based work at home opportunities are great for people who want to make money working at home but haven't a clue where to start.
Q. Are you offering jobs?
A. No, I am not offering jobs or offering to put people in touch
with potential employers. The programs I recommend are mostly
work at home opportunities or home based business programs.
I do recommend some websites where you can find jobs (eg Yahoo Hot Jobs)
but there is massive competition for work at home jobs. The fact
is there are just not enough work at home jobs to go round; if you
want to work at home, the best thing to do is to work for yourself either
as a freelancer or by starting your own home based business.
Q. Are these programs legitimate?
A. Absolutely! All the programs I recommend are legitimate to the very best of my knowledge. You will see that practically all
of the companies are either approved by institutions such as the Better
Business Bureau or iCop, or offer programs backed by a 100% money back guarantee. Many provide free information and/or free trials.
Q. Aren't there a lot of scams on the Internet?
A. Definitely. This is why I recommend only trusted programs where I am a member myself or programs backed by a no quibble money back guarantee. You should always be alert for possible scams. For further information you can read my article about the
Top Ten Work From Home Scams.
Q. Can I join a program and have the fees deducted from my earnings afterwards?
A. No, this would not be fair on all the other people who join the program and pay in advance and don't forget all these programs are low cost to join anyway.
Are the free programs really free?
Yes. The free programs are completely free. The programs that offer a free trial period are free to join and then it is up to you if you want to become a full paying member at the end of the trial. These programs mostly give you 30 days access to their program so you get plenty of time to look around and decide if it's for you.
Q. Can I earn a lot of money with a home business without having to invest anything?
A. No, and don't believe anyone who tells you otherwise. The only people who will tell you it is possible to earn a fortune with zero investment are trying to get you involved in a get rich quick scheme. These schemes never work and many are outright scams. The Internet is no different from the bricks and mortar world in this respect: the more you can invest (either in terms of time or cash), the bigger the profits you can make. The difference is that it is cheaper, quicker and easier to make money through an Internet business than offline.
Q. Can I talk to you by phone?
A. I prefer not to use the phone for queries. I have been "phone spammed" too many times by people who pretend they need my help but really just want to try and sell me something. Once again, a few idiots have spoiled things for everyone else. I hope you will understand this and contact me via email.
Q. How can I contact you?
A. You can email me by using the Contact Form
The above questions and answers cover the questions I am asked most often. As new situations arise, I'll update this page with further information.
I don't want to trick or trap people into making decisions that will lead to unhappiness. If, therefore, you are let down by any program you join through my website, please let me know. I do everything humanly possible to keep a check on everything I promote, but things can happen - eg companies sometimes get sold and might deteriorate under their new ownership. If something like this happens, I will be grateful to the person who notifies me and I will remove the program to preserve the integrity of my website.
If you feel you have a legitimate complaint about a program, you can email me through the site contact form. Just let me know the program's full name, the date you paid for membership, the nature of your complaint, whether you have contacted the company direct and, if so, what action they have taken.
In the interests of all round fairness, I won't act on any email that just makes an unsubstantiated allegation that a program is a scam. If you join a program and then decide it is not what you were expecting, take advantage of the money back guarantee and try a different program.
I have had people email me saying a program is a scam and then, when I ask the reason they are
saying this, they don't reply. This is just a waste of everyone's time. If people don't give me information to backup a vague complaint, I can only assume there was no substance to the allegation because, in my experience, anyone with a legitimate grievance will be only too happy to share their concerns.
If you sign up with a program and then have difficulty understanding how it
works or decide that it is just not what you were expecting, don't start
saying it's a scam. All the companies I recommend either offer a free trial so
you can see what the opportunity involves or a money back guarantee in case you
change your mind about membership for any reason. No scam program is going to
give you a free trial or have a no questions asked 100% refund policy.
