Homeshoring - America's Biggest Source of Legitimate Work At Home Jobs
Homeshoring has made the "30 second commute" a reality for many people living in the United States of America. Imagine a job where your commute is the distance from your breakfast table to your home computer (and you can even take your coffee with you). Imagine a flexible work at home job where you simply log in to your computer, put on a headset and take calls for your client company for half an hour. Then you take a break to do a few household chores and make another cup of coffee before resuming work. Imagine a job so flexible that you can take as many breaks as you need, working in shifts of 15 or 30 minutes and never have to leave the house in connection with your job. Imagine having a home job where you can choose your own hours and work part-time if you wish. Imagine having all that freedom and getting paid an honest hourly rate for your work.
Homeshoring - Legitimate Work At Home Jobs

Homeshoring is making the work at home dream a comfortable reality for thousands of people all across the USA. The number of employers offering homeshoring jobs is rising and the number of home-based call center agents is expected to triple within the next three years. Homeshoring might sound too good to be true but it is not a work at home scam, it is a source of legitimate home employment.

Homeshoring is not a scheme cooked up by tight-fisted employers to get staff to work for less than minimum wage in return for flexible hours and the opportunity to work at home.
What Is Homeshoring?
Homeshoring is the use of home-based employees to take incoming phone calls for businesses. Homeshoring virtual call center jobs consist of all sorts of customer assistance roles and the rates of pay vary according to the complexity of the job. There are jobs for agents to simply take down messages or customer orders over the phone and relay them through a computer link to their clients. At the other end of the scale, there are highly technical support staff jobs.
Why Do Employers Offer Homeshore Jobs?
Formerly many of these jobs would have been outsourced to overseas call centers, but there is a trend to bring these jobs back to the home country. Companies outsourced jobs to overseas call centers to save themselves money. However, trying to communicate over the phone with agents whose first language was not English made this unpopular with customers and share prices suffered as a result. Outsourcing (or "offshoring") was one of those things that seemed like a good idea at the time (to employers anyway) but the tide has turned and those call center jobs are flooding back to the United States. The difference now is that companies are using home-based call center staff to work in their own virtual call centers at home. This saves the companies the high overheads related to running a physical call center while getting over the problems they experienced with language difficulties when the work was outsourced to foreign call centers.
