Greetings From London

Greetings and Happy New Year! Welcome to our first issue for 2006. From my office window I can see the sun shining on the trees outside and can almost believe spring is here, but "almost" is the important word here: it's freezing cold in London and my "30 second commute" is about as far as I want to venture today.

My new programme finds for this month started a couple of months ago when I read an editorial in a regular newsletter from one of the manual traffic exchanges I surf. The owner of the traffic exchange had previously said that, after being a member of MPAM for several years, he decided to revisit the lessons and follow the step by step instructions. After that, he wrote about his experiences and progress in each new issue. When it got to the second or third issue, I was intrigued enough to visit the MPAM website. I could not understand how someone who has obviously been working successfully online for some years could benefit from going over stuff he had learned at the beginning. I had seen the MPAM website advertised plenty of times but had never taken the time to investigate it so I had no idea what it had to offer. What I discovered amazed me. From my viewpoint ie having nearly two years experience of working online, I can see how great this programme is for newcomers: the tuition offered is free and easy to follow. The instructions are completely step by step, you don't have to try to figure things out for yourself, every action is listed. I've already done most of the things in the tutorials (many of them done the hard way I might add!) but the thing that hooked me was the set of tutorials about building your own niche website. Niche websites are the hot thing on the internet at the moment and plenty of people are offering to sell you ebooks on how to go about this. At MPAM they give you the information, direct you to free website hosting, provide templates and advertising vehicles. Basically they give you everything you need to succeed, all you need to do (apart from follow the steps) is decide on the subject for your niche (typically that is what is currently delaying my progress, I don't know which subject to do first). There is much more in the programme and the affiliate opportunity that will appeal to experienced Internet marketers but I won't go into that here, all the information can be found at MPAM where you can also discover the meaning of the "prosperity with integrity" slogan.

Pixel advertising is set to become the latest Internet craze and I have joined Pix Me Up.

On the autosurfing for cash front, 12 Daily Pro is still the number 1 HOT programme, still reliably paying out huge amounts of money. Dad N Dave's is now a private membership programme. Anyone who is not enrolled and upgraded by 28th January 2006 will have missed out on membership of what is now one of the top 5 autosurf programmes.

Two new autosurf for cash programmes this month. The first one is Alien Trust. They allow you to cash out any time you have a $35 earnings balance. They do payouts every Friday afternoon and you will get your cash in your Stormpay account within hours of your request. The owners seem to have this programme tightly under control. To reduce strain on the server, Alien Trust is closed to surfers while routine daily maintenance is performed, so don't be surprised it you try to access the site and all you see is a message saying it is going to be down for a few hours - this is normal, it comes back. Latest news is that AT have moved to a new server and are ironing out some glitches. They have changed the colour scheme from black to grey and it is much easier on the eye.

The other one is Profits 4 Surfing. It is a 12 Daily look alike, offering similar terms to 12D so people are rushing to join. If you want a chance at getting into a programme early and building a downline, this is it. It's so new, I can't offer any opinion or advice yet. As always: use the beer money, not the grocery budget when you invest in these programmes.

Last month I also added Gottalotta Hits and Safari Cash to my Autosurf Review. They are still performing well. All the other programmes are continuing to pay out.

This is my announcement from last month and I intend to leave it here for the time being as an answer to anyone who asks why I still have faith in the programme. Aussie Earners are still behind on payouts due to the months and months of problems with hackers, software etc but I have every confidence in Chery, the owner, and believe that she will get the programme back to normal if we remain patient. This month I received another $50 from Aussie Earners as promised. I realise it is easy for me to be patient as I only have a few hundred dollars at stake and it is different for the people who are waiting on thousands but I don't mind waiting for payments to be brought up to date if this supports an honest owner like Chery: we need people like her to counteract the scammers and villains trying to steal our money online.

The big thing I joined last month was Our Power Forced Matrix . This is an exciting new programme that gives you a legitimate way to have a second account at Empowerism. There is still time to join and benefit from this programme.

Last month's finds started with a great new free viral advertising source called AdsVert. These are text ads that look like PPC ads but, they are free, you earn credits by showing other members' ads. This programme is still looking good but it's hard to see how a programme offering free viral advertising would not be popular.

The other big news was that Stormpay have reduced their fees by over 50% for people who are Net IBA certified. I use Stormpay wherever possible as I don't like the "gold" accounts but those fees were crippling a saving of over 50% was very good news.

In November's issue I mentioned Submit YOUR Article and thought I'd give it another mention today in case you missed it in the last issue. I have been using this service myself for several months and have been 100% satisfied with it.

For the benefit of new readers, I am making Dotcomology, the book from Stone Evans, (in case you don't know, he invented the Plug-in Profit Site) a permanent feature here. It is an in depth study of the art of making money online. It's very well written and stuffed with useful information. Best of all it's FREE. You can download a copy here, I promise you won't be disappointed if you are interested in making money online. Just click on the banner to download Dotcomology free.

Enough from me. I hope you will enjoy the rest of this month's issue, there are two feature articles this month. Keep safe and be happy and I'll be back in a month or so with some more Internet good stuff.

Strong Man

The strong young man at the construction site was bragging that he could outdo anyone in a feat of strength. He made a special case of making fun of one of the older workmen. After several minutes, the older worker had had enough.

"Why don't you put your money where your mouth is," he said. "I will bet a week's wages that I can haul something in a wheelbarrow over to that outbuilding that you won't be able to wheel back."

"You're on, old man," the braggart replied. "Let's see what you got."

The old man reached out and grabbed the wheelbarrow by the handles. Then, nodding to the young man, he said, "All right. Get in."

Earn Money Doing Mystery Shopping - Men Wanted

By Elaine Currie - Hunting Venus Work At Home Directory

The art of shopping is something of a mystery to most men. Perhaps, therefore, it is not so surprising that few men realise there is an opportunity for them to earn money working from home doing mystery shopping. There are probably not many men who have even thought about the existence of mystery shoppers. In fact, it would be unusual for a man to spend any time at all thinking about shopping in a positive way.

Mystery shopping (sometimes called secret shopping) is an easy way to earn money:
it is very simple to do, you need no previous experience, no special knowledge and no expensive equipment. Mystery shopping jobs can be done as part-time employment in hours you choose to fit in with your current schedule. Mystery shopping companies employ men and women of all ages and backgrounds as mystery shoppers. In fact, just about adult who can manage to go shopping could become a mystery shopper, but most mystery shoppers are women.

Men are not genetically designed to be great recreational shoppers: they find it impossible to grasp the concept of shopping as a form of entertainment and tend only to go shopping when they have a particular purchase in mind. For example, when I tell my husband that I have arranged to go on a shopping trip with my daughter, he will ask me what we want to buy. What sort of a question is that? We can't possibly know what we want to buy until we see what the shops have to offer. Research shows that this is a typical male reaction to shopping. Men have this odd way of deciding they want something and then going to the shops to make the purchase. Strangely, they never come back with anything over and above the item they went out to buy and, if the item is not available, a man will even return from a shopping trip empty handed.

Whether they enjoy it or not men do go shopping. If you look around you will notice plenty of men in supermarkets. Some will just be dutiful husbands reluctantly accompanying their wives but there will be numerous other men who are solitary shoppers actually shopping in their own right. Even if their shopping basket reaches the checkout containing nothing but a six pack of beer and a cd, it's still shopping.

Look around the mall and you'll see plenty of men. Some of these will be driven by the need to buy a gift for a wife or girlfriend but there will be plenty of men out shopping for things they actually want for themselves. Men might rely on female relatives to keep them supplied with socks and underwear but it's a different story when new footwear or outerwear or sports equipment are needed.

Most men exist in a state of denial when it comes to the significance of shopping. If a man and a woman each go shopping on a particular day and they are later asked what they did that day, the woman will reply "shopping" and the man will say "nothing". However, it is this male reluctance to throw body and soul into shopping that will be a great advantage if a man decides to try a career in mystery shopping. A man sent to purchase one specific item at a particular place will be able to do exactly that. A man will not be in any danger of becoming sidetracked so that the mystery shopping assignment takes over the whole day or ends up costing him money because of an attack of impulse purchasing.

The reason mystery shopping companies exist is that companies such as retail chains, restaurants, travel companies, hotels etc need to be able to obtain impartial feedback on their employees and services. Mystery shoppers are employed to provide feedback on such things as the behaviour of members of staff, the quality of customer service and the cleanliness standards of the premises. There is no reason whatsoever for mystery shopping to be restricted to women only and some assignments are only suitable for male secret shoppers.

Apart from general retail mystery shopping assignments that are suitable for either gender, there are also male only areas that require inspection. Companies will employ mystery shoppers to report on such things as toilet facilities, men's fitting rooms in shops, men's changing rooms at gyms etc. Needless to say, a woman secret shopper would not be much of a secret in these surroundings.

When the subject of mystery shopping is considered, people normally thing of women buying dresses or shopping for food in supermarkets but there is a lot more to mystery shopping than this. Mystery shopping companies will also pay you to do things such as eat at a restaurant, have a drink at a bar, visit a cinema or spend a night in a hotel. If you are really lucky, you might be sent on an expenses paid vacation as a mystery shopping assignment.

The companies employing the services of the mystery shopping company need to hear the opinions of both men and women. If you forget actual shops for a moment and consider the people who use restaurants, bars, cinemas, bowling alleys, skating rinks, hotels, theatres, taxi companies, gyms etc, it will be obvious that a large percentage of customers are men. The owners of these establishments need to discover whether men are satisfied with their staff and services, they can't afford to ignore the needs of half their customers.

An assignment to visit a bar, sample a beer, purchase a snack and check out the men's cloakroom is not most women's idea of a great shopping trip but getting paid to carry out such an assignment will sound like a good deal to many men. Perhaps it's just the name mystery "shopping" that puts men off and the companies need to find a suitable alternative title to attract more men into this work.

10 Characteristics of A Home Business Professional

by: Kelly Lowe

Home Business Professionals are unique people. We are all very different people, with very different personalities and thinking processess. However, all successful home business professionals have the following characteristics in common.
1. Home business professionals are usually leaders, not followers. We like to set the standards, not adhere to them.
2. Home business professionals are always looking for new and better ways to do things. We believe that there is always a better, more effective way to get things done, and we seek to find it.
3. Home business professionals are very open-minded. We never say that an idea won't work without looking at all the facts, and if possible, testing the theory in question.
4. Home business professionals are generally very organized. We are our own bosses. There is nobody to tell us when, or how, to get things done. It is something we must do for ourselves, and being organized is usually the first step in getting things done effectively.
5. Home business professionals are hard workers. We know that starting a business is hard work, with long hours. However, we know that eventually, we will be able to work fewer hours and enjoy the same success. However, we do understand that work will always be involved, even if the hours are shorter.
6. Home business professionals like to help out others. If you talk to a home business professional, the chances are good that you will find that person does charity work of some sort.
7. Home business professionals are honest in their business dealings. When they see others being dishonest, they are quick to call them on it, and point it out to others.
8. Home business professionals are very dedicated. We love what we do. It is something we have chosen for ourselves. We make our own rules, and we love "going" to work each day. Our love for what we do drives us to do it better than anyone else and keeps us very motivated.
9. Home business professionals are very energetic. We don't have the stresses that the people in the corporate world have. We are not a part of the rat race. This allows us to have more energy. While traditional corporate employees tend to go home from work and stretch out on the couch to watch television, home business professionals walk out of their home offices ready to go have fun. We have alot of energy left over at the end of the day.
10. Home business professionals are happy people. We love what we do. We've made our own rules, and we are living the lives that we have chosen to live. Who wouldn't be happy?
